Albeit a first generation iPAD I finally broke down and purchased one. I found the 64GB WiFi model on sale at Sam's club for only $469. I thought it was a steal so I picked it up. I always like to get things when I don't have to pay full freight for them.

So far I am pleased with it as I already use an iPhone 3GS. There are a few things I don't care for but am willing to live with. I didn't need all the cameras that the iPad 2 comes with and that is why I went with the iPad 1.

Unfortunately the company I work for now does not allow iPad or iPhone access to the main network (not sure why) so I cant use some of the nifty features of the iPad although I can hook up to my email account.

I am heading next week to Portland for three days of training on the research portal by Huron. I have attended their IPA class twice now and am going for more training in anticipation of their roll out of the COI store at MD Anderson in November.
